 Can we smoke in the Hotel?
Answer: No smoking is permitted within the public area's of the Hotel - this includes the bar area, corridors, stairs and toilets. The hotel does have an outdoor area at the rear of the building for smokers. The hotel also has 15 rooms (No. 9 to 24) which are allocated as rooms in which the guests can smoke.
How far are we from the City Centre?
Answer: Just over 1 mile, 15-20 minutes walk, £3.50 in a taxis or £1.30on a bus (good route)
How do we get to your hotel from Junction 26 of the M1?
Answer: Please refer to our 'How to find us page' (Also please ensure you stay within the speed limited on the route, Nottingham has many digital speed camera's that will get you if you speed, not that you should!
How far is it to the University
Answer: There are two Universities in Nottingham. Nottingham Trent University is about 1 mile from the Hotel (£3.00 in taxi) and Nottingham University is about 2½ miles away or £4.00 in a taxi
Rugby Teams - Can you arrange a game for us?
Answer: Yes - with reasonable notice will should be able to arrange a friendly.
Is the Hotel suitable for families?
Answer: We do have families stay with us, however you should bear in mind our main customers are adults, students and back packers. We do not have any play facilities. However if you just require good clean accommodation at an affordable price then you are welcome to stay with us.
How far are you from Nottingham Forest, Notts County and the Cricket Club?
Answer: All of Nottingham top Sports venue's are in the same area and are located about 3 miles away or £4.50 in a taxi.
Do you have parking facilities?
Answer: No, we have no parking. The parking is on the roads around, regrettable as the Hotel is so close to the City land prices prevent us from being able to provide parking and still remain a budget hotel. We have had no reported problems with parked vehicles, however we would recommend, as in any city, to not leave any valuable in your vehicle and wipe off any satnav suction cup marks on your widowscreen!
Do you have a bar?
Answer: Yes we have a large bar area (Pub Prices) which is open to residents and there guests. The bar is open late on Fridays and Saturdays depending upon numbers i.e. more than one!
How far are we from Rock City?
Answer: About 1 mile (£2.75 Taxi) , same direct as the City Centre or 20 minutes walk, and about an hour on the way back if you've had a few!
How far are we from the Ice Arena? - We're often the first choice for attendees!
Answer: About 2 miles or about £3.75 in a taxi.
How far are we from the Royal Concert Hall?
Answer: About 2 miles or about £3.50 in a taxi.
How far are we from the Theatre Royal?
